This reclamation entailed a 1 kilometre long stretch of beach. It included an on site plant nursery to establish and acclimatise native vegetation, hydro and manual seeding a section of reconstructed dune, natural and artificial wind brakes, wooden cross dune paths to reduce traffic erosion to the newly planted dunes and planting the area with salt hardy shrubs.
